American Revolutionary War Veteran William Hutchings, 1864.

William Hutchings was one of the last living veterans of the American Revolutionary War when his photograph was taken in 1864. This photo was published individually and as part of a book by Rev. E. B. Hillard, who visited and interviewed six of the last living veterans that took part in the American War of Independence from Great Britain, including William Hutchings.

Harry S. Truman in Military Uniform, 1918.

Postcard studio portrait photo taken in 1918 of future U.S. President Harry S. Truman in uniform while serving in France, during the First World War. It is noted that this photo was given to John A. Hatfield in France in 1918 and returned to Harry S. Truman in January 1962.
