History Question of the Day – Day 4 – October 7th

Koninklijke Luchtvaartmaatschappij NV (KLM) Royal Dutch Airlines celebrates the founding of its company on October 7th. As of 2022, it is the oldest airline still in operation, with the 20 that were founded before it no longer operating. Despite merging with Air France in 2004, the company continues to operate under the name KLM separately from Air France.

“History Question of the Day” is a new quiz series that we will be releasing every day for the foreseeable future that will feature just one question on a historical topic that is in some way related to the day. This could be a birthday, anniversary, major event, or trending news topic. As long as the date can be linked to a historical event, the history question of the day may be related to it.
